You can buy almost any book mentioned in my posts or appearing in my References lists at Bookshop.org, wherever I have provided links.
Bookshop.org is climate neutral and gives 80% of their profit margin to the brick-and-mortar bookstore of your choice (mine is set to support FoxTale Book Shoppe in downtown Woodstock, Georgia, USA).
I get a small commission if you buy through me. This won’t cost you anything, but it helps me to offset my own costs and maybe (one can only hope) to provide a little extra retirement income for things like guinea-pig kibble and parrot toys.
N.B.: If a book is simply cited and listed as a source (References), I may or may not recommend it: Just because you see it there doesn’t mean I agree with it or liked it. Draw your own conclusions from the context, take advantage of free reading samples if they’re available, and buy at your own risk.
However, if I recommend a book, it’s because I loved it (fiction) or think it’s important (nonfiction) and it is the same recommendation I would make to friends and family or have made in the past to students and client/patients, all without commission.
Happy reading!
